The Jewish Theological Seminary and the Association of Jewish Libraries are pleased to offer a certificate program in Judaica and Hebraica Librarianship.
This program prepares participants to work in the field of Judaica librarianship, providing state-of-the-art skills and experience specific to working with Judaica collections. Taught by world experts in their fields, courses are offered online as a twelve-month series of modules repeated in three cycles.
Program requirements
- Three required courses: Introduction to Judaica Cataloging, Collection Development for Judaic Studies, and Judaica Reference
- Two electives
- Internship at an AJL-member institution
Costs
- $50 nonrefundable program registration fee
- Course tuition is free to participants in the US and Europe
- $350/course for those living outside of the US and Europe
