The Jewish Studies Program in association with the Department of History at Queen’s University invites applications for the Alfred and Isabel Bader Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Jewish History. The temporal and thematic area of specialization is open and includes any area of research related to Jewish history. The fellowship will be awarded to a scholar with a completed PhD who has a record of outstanding teaching. The fellowship will be awarded initially for a two-year term commencing 1 July 2024 and is renewable for an additional one-year term. A postdoctoral supervisor will be named based on the successful candidate’s field of specialization.

University of Virginia Visiting Ph.D. Student Fellowship, Jewish Studies
The Jewish Studies Program at the University of Virginia announces its Visiting Ph.D. Student Fellowship Competition. Fellowships are intended to allow advanced Ph.D. students from any academic discipline working on topics in Jewish Studies to spend three or four weeks, typically, as a visiting graduate fellow at the University of Virginia. During their visit, students will work in their specific areas with Jewish Studies affiliated faculty, present their work in-progress at the Jewish Studies graduate colloquium and/or in a public presentation, and be part of a vibrant academic community. Fellows will also have access to the university’s extensive library collection.
